    "The somebody" sounds very unlikely. The cases in which "the somebody" would be used are so unusual and individual that it isn't worthwhile trying to construct one.

    Or are you using 'somebody' as the replacement for a specific noun or name? If that is the case, please give us a complete sentence, including the specific word 'somebody' is replacing.

    Yes, thank you.

    In that dialogue, I would say 'That somebody is David'. I believe most speakers of American English would.

    However, I think someone might say 'The somebody' as humorous play with words.
