Hi all,

Can someone tell me which of the two expressions is correct? We're doing corporate Christmas cards;

The team sends their very best wishes for a wonderful holiday season
The team sends its very best wishes for a wonderful holiday season

Is either one more 'correct' than the other?

    I agree with Chris K: 'their' and 'its' rather suggest you're passing on the team's compliments, but you're not part of them/it.

    With 'its'/'their', you need to make a consistent choice of treating the team as singular (the team sends its) or plural (the team send their).
