the wind has left the air clear

The strong wind of the Mistral does not chase the clouds away and leaves the air limpid clear. I am trying to translate this into French and my attempt is "Le vent fort du Mistral ne chasse pas les nuages et laisse l'air limpide et clair". Thanks for help!

    ou bien "d'une clarté limpide".
But you can't say "le vent fort du mistral" because the mistral is the name of this wind. It would mean "the strong wind of the wind."
perhaps you could say something like:
" Lorsqu'il souffle fort, le mistral ne disperse pas les nuages mais laisse l'air ..."
