    Is it ok, without 'she felt' after then?
    Yes, it is. You'd need "she felt" if there were a change of subject and verb:

    She heard the ropes go taut, then felt the supporting lift of the swing.
    He heard the ropes go taut, then she felt the supporting lift of the swing.
