Hi All,

Is the use of 'thereof' correct in this writing of mine:

What about the option to lift and shift the same software stack to a more powerful hardware ? and the cost thereof?

Thank you in advance.

Your fragment "... and the cost thereof? " is fine in the context you present, although I would write it:

"What about the option to lift and shift the same software stack to a more powerful hardware ... and the cost thereof?"

We do not, however, say "a hardware."
