They disliked each other too much to meet, so they conducted all their business through an intermediary.

Hello everyone, I want to know if I can leave the "to meet" in the sentence which I gave as an example? May I change the original meaning of it if I leave it out?

Thanks

The inclusion of 'to meet' emphasizes that they disliked each other so much, they could not even be in the same room together!

Hello Milky, do you also consider the word "conducted" and "business" here appropriate?

I mean, business shall be "businesses" and "conducted" here could be an appropriate word?
