this growing section of the workforce

French - France
I'm having a bit of a conundrum translating the above phrase. Its context is:

"But it [the study about the future of working in the UK] concedes that managing time will be an issue for this growing section of the workforce, with the boundaries of work and leisure time becoming less distinct...".
The "growing section of the workforce" refers to people who are mobile workers or telecommuters. The paragraph just before that talked about how the study forecasts workers hot desking, and how the loss of personal space will be offset by greater control over their time.

What I've come up with is as follows: " le nombre croissant du personnel d'entreprise mobile".

I'm concerned that I've lost some of the meaning of the original text, especially the concept of "section".

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
