This is so fleeting

She told me she loved me one week ago and now she's just dumped me. One day you can love someone and the next the feeling disappears. This is so fleeting.

The bolded part is most likely wrong, what should I say? To say that one day it can be white and the other black, like it's almost meaningless to say i love you these days.

Fleeting is a nice word, but in that use of it, it’s not really clear what’s meant by “this”. What was fleeting (brief, transitory, short-lived) was the relationship.

Touch and go doesn’t mean that. It implies that the outcome of something is in the balance, could go either way.

Maybe “here today, gone tomorrow” is closer?
