Cette "boule" de "roche" avec un "doublage" de cristaux à l'intérieur, est une géode.
Mutiple questions.
Would it be a "boule" (ball) or a "bulle" (bubble) ?
Would it be a "roche" (substance) or a "pierre" (stone) ?

Would the lining be "doubleur" or "doublage" or "paroi" ?

PGalbe, you seem to be translating from English? Please would you give the original sentence in English :).

(I'm adding a tag or two to the thread.)

Oops. Sorry. Yes...I'm trying to say
"This round rock, with it's crystal lining, is a geode".
And the "round rock" is referring to the dark basalt, on the outside (not the quartz crystals or chalcedony on the inside).

Oooh. Tapissée. I like that. A fanciful description.
    Many thanks.

oui, pour rester dans les chiffons on aurait pu dire aussi :
cette pierre ronde à la doublure de cristal est une géode.
cette pierre ronde à la doublure cristalline est une géode.
