hi all, in the following sentence, which version is correct? through work, through working or through working for the Lord? there is content in front of this sentence which can tell others here it refers to work for the Lord. Please help~ (wrote by myself)

As we accumulate ever greater merits through work/working/working for the Lord, we think that we are ever more qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven.

    thank you in advance~

It looks like you only have 2 examples, not 3, and have repeated "working" accidentally:
    - through work for the Lord
    - through working for the Lord

Is that correct? I want to make sure I understand what your examples are.
