Throughout this time

Hi to all

I would like to discuss the use of the word "throughout" in this sentence:

Throughout this time, the analysis of rollforming through finite element simulations has been the main focus of my job.

Particularly, I am not sure if it should be used when the main clause is in present perfect.

Thanks for your help.

I'm guessing you're more familiar with present perfect tense than I am, but I'm sure there's nothing wrong with this use. Is there something you can point to that raises a concern?
