    Hi everyone,

The context : we're trying to find a day that suits everyone to meet up. I want to say : 'Thursday should work for me' as in, Thursday will probably suit me. I want to say it in a very colloquial way, not the way you'd do it in written French, and I don't care if it's not grammatically correct.

    Mon essai :

Normalement jeudi m'ira / ça va pour moi

N.B. I say 'normalement' although I know that's a corruption of the correct meaning; but it's how it's most often used, or at least that's my impression  But that's not what this post is about.

If you want to retain an element of doubt: it should work ... -> Jeudi, ça devrait aller. Or as you said: En principe, ça m'ira.
Nawaq's examples all mean that Thursday is fine, no doubt about it.
