How would you translate "to tip-toe," i.e., to walk (quietly) on your toes?

Just as it appears in the WR dictionary: andar de puntillas.
To tip-toe is the same as to sneak.

Quédate de puntillas, si es literalmente tener esa postura en los pies, aunque no suena muy habitual que alguien te diga eso, si no es en una clase de danza o similar.
do you mean to keep someone on their toes? por ejemplo:
I have a very demanding job that keeps me on my toes all day long!
this can mean that your job keeps you very busy/alert/literally on your feet all day long
I thought that the word empinarse was the word for someone standing on their tip toes.
