Dear all,

Can I use the expression "to be gloomy about/over sth" in the following context ?

She is gloomy about/over finding a new job in this field of business.

I think I'd just say 'not optimistic'. 'Gloomy prospects' perhaps. Somehow to 'feel gloomy' doesn't sound quite right but see what other people think. Maybe my synaspes are loose.
