to be rolling in money

  • means have so much money that you dont know what to do with - to roll in it. I would use 'rolling in dough' rather than 'rolling in money' as it is more appropriate for the use.

    Lets see.....

After the release of their first album, they were rolling in dough - buying expensive cars, houses, horses.

    or...

Because of the astronomical price of oil, the oil producing countries are rolling in money.

Rolling in dough would mean the same thing, but I think its more pedestrian.
