Per aiutare il dizionario WR, faccio questo argomento.
Nel dizionario non c'è un verbo per "to bolt" (nel senso meccanico).
Con Corriere ho trovato "imbullonare".

Ci sono altre forme?
fissare con perno/i
fissare con bullono/i

I've just had a look in my Marolli technical dictionary and it gives me "bullonare" but there's nothing else, sorry.

I think you can say: imbullonare, fissare con un bullone.

Everything is a help!!!

The dictionary will pick this thread (it's there now),
and under "bolt" at the bottom other users can see
..."to bolt" imbullonare...
and they won't have to spend time searching around.

after I raised the "bolting" thread you picked it up to raise this one... So we'll have a clearer explanation.

I agree with Paul... I guess "imbullonare" would do, although it does have a weird sound to me.
