Hi,

This is a dinner. A boy meet the girl's parents for the first time in two weeks, and she says:

"Two weeks and he's flying my parents out".

I don't know if this is a good thig or a bad thing. I gess good ecause the dinner's really smooth and nice, but I don't know how to translate it.

Buscaba en algunos hilos y la referencia que se hacía era el "llevar a una persona de un lugar a otro por medios aéreos". Sin embargo, no me parece aplicable en este caso. ¿Estás seguro que en la cena salió todo bien o que los padres de la chica fueron del todo agradables al novio? Pregunto porque al menos aquí en México existe una expresión utilizada cuando nos hartamos de alguien o no nos agrada la persona que es "mandar a volar" que dicho de otra forma es como "mandar al diablo a alguien".

No sé, me parece que hay cierta similitud, aunque podría estar equivocado. Veamos que nos pueden decir los demás sobre esto.

Significa que el chico ha comprado billetes de avión para los padres de la chica, y ellos van a coger el vuelo para visitar en dos semanas.

It may not seem like it fits, but it's the only possible explanation that I see. The problem is that olvidadero didn't give us additional context. Maybe he actually did fly them out -- buy their plane tickets, or maybe he piloted the plane -- even though the relationship is only two weeks old.
