    Hello everyone!

I'm translating a theatre play and this expression came up: «You asked him to fuck you blue, didn't you?». I get the general concept of the expression, but I would like to know the hint of it.

    Thank you!

Does the context refer to actual sexual intercourse or is it a metaphor?

Yes, they are talking about a sexual intercourse.

It's only a guess but apparently some people get pleasure from partial asphyxiation during sex - I suppose it might refer to that and the colour their face goes (?*).

?* - Never having tried it, I don't know what colour people would go.

O es lo que explica Chasint (la falta de oxígeno provoca esa tonalidad azulada, ojo, solo en pieles más o menos claras), o los personajes son los famosos pitufos. :D Pitufina será la más solicitada, barrunto.

    :D:D:D

A no ser que sea esto:p quiero pensar que simplemente significa to fuck somebody out of their mind.

Me suena haberlo oído en mis pelis.

You are confusing two different idioms.

    1. To fuck someone's brains out (Have a lot of sex)
    fuck (one's) brains out

    2. To fuck someone's mind up (to confuse or disorient someone)
    fuck someone’s mind up

I've never heard this expression, but if I had to guess, I'd say that "blue" is an abbreviation of the expression "until you're blue in the face."

I take it to figuratively mean to have sex to death (until they're blue). It could also refer, more literally, to engaging in sex games of asphyxiation where people go blue in the face for lack of oxygen.
