To keep in mind

Alright everybody :)

How would one say "I'll keep that in mind."
A friend of mine was giving me a bunch of advice, along with some tips that I should incorporate when I box. I wanted to tell him "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind!" but couldn't think of something that would capture the meaning.
Anyone?

oh p.s. this is kinda random but how do you say "capture the meaning" in German?

    In your example:

"Danke, das muss ich mir merken."

That's when the advice was good and you really intend to keep it in mind.

-or- "Danke, ich werd's mir merken."
are polite ways of saying you don't really intend to and why can't the other mind his own business?
