Good day!

I have a question about the correct usage of the verb "to meet"

Must I say:

"this is the place two loving hearts can meet each other"

Or it's enough to say:

"this is the place two loving hearts can meet"?

The “each other” is superfluous and renders the sentence unidiomatic. The term adds nothing that isn’t already obviously meant.
