Hello,
I was looking for an expression or a nice idiom or a phrase used in English language to convey the following "to outsmart someone" or "to outwit someone".

Cheers

Thanks I like that one, can I give some more examples which I somehow do consider also possible.

    He could sell ice
    to an Eskimo.
He could sell sand to the Arabs.

If this is only suitable to describe somebody who is so good at sales , or to describe a highly persuasive individual, please do tell. :D

Actually I was looking more for an expression "to make a fool of someone".
    Cheers

What about, "to draw (someone's) leg"? To me this sounds silly.
