Just that, I'd like to know what the expresion above means in English and how it could be translated into Spanish, if possible. Thank you very much.

    Sorry my fault! Actually it's part of a song wich says: "doin' all i can do just to be close to you,/ everytime that we meet I skip a heartbeat."
    I guess it is something related to the feeling wich is called in Spanish "dar un vuelco el corazón", am I right?

    Yes, "my heart skips a beat," mi corazón se salta un latido ...
    "I skip a heartbeat" is not the normal way to say it. It was probably phrased that way for reasons of meter/syllable count.
