toggle the LED

Any ideas on what the meaning of "Toogle" is in this sentence:
"The following program will toggle the LED each time the interrupt occurs."

Could it be:
"El siguiente programa cambiará el estado del LED cada vez que ocurra una interrupción"

Toggle...to go from ON to OFF to ON to OFF... . In this case the LED will go ON and OFF repeatedly.

Sandra, you got it! To toggle se refiere a un interruptor o sistema que con el primer impulso prende un circuito y con el segundo lo apaga, y así alternando sucesivamente.

The "shift" key on most computers toggles the keyboard between upper and lower case.

It comes from "toggle switch," a common switch with two positions, left-right or up-down, with one position "on" and the other "off."
