Hello all .







Ihave an exercise about a shool trip and there is a sentence : Get your tokens for the attractions from your guide.

Can one explain it for me ,please?

    Senior Member
    A token is a sort of "private money" for an attraction. For example, you might go to a video arcade where they don't accept standard coins, only tokens. You buy tokens with "real" money and use the tokens within the arcade.
     
    thank you JamesM and Miss julie . It may be an easy word but I am not excellent in English and your explaining and helping make the sentence clearer to me better than what I found in the dictionary . I am happy to be with native speakers of English .
