Good morning one and all. I'm having a bit of a problem finding the appropriate translation of this word. I understand what it means (I already checked the WR Spanish definition) but simply can not find the right word in English. In the context reference is being made to the person who takes out an insurance policy. Would policyholder be correct?:)

Yup! Policy holder or policyholder would be correct. Some policies call the policy holder "the insured," but sometimes the policy holder is somebody other than the insured (life insurance, for example).

Many thanks David. Actually the word came to me while I was writing the post. In the case in question, it turns out that the Policyholder is the same person as the Assured, but I had not reached that definition when I posted. :)
