    投擲(touteki)を使った。
    投擲とは手榴弾(しゅりゅうだん)などの投げる道具/武器のことです。
    "toteki" is a throw-type weapon like grenades.

    At least from the screenshot, I read;
    "パチリスは とっておきを つかった"
    Totteoki being used as a noun is rarer than an adjectival "totteoki-no" but this video game seems to be fond of neologism. Anyway, totteoki is literary "set aside for special occasion."

    So the game is litteraly saying:
    "Pachirisu used the attack set aside for a special occasion"?

    It makes sense

    Thanks a lot guys!,

    Thanks Flaminius! I think it is "Pachirisu used the attack set aside for the special occasion" because it is translated to "Reserve Attack"... Thanks a lot, Flaminius, Cheshire!

    I overlooked the pun. Pokemon is really creative in terms of that kind of pun.

    cheshire は omoiyari おもいやり(思いやり) (consideration) をはなった(放った)threw, launch
    cheshire は nageyari なげやり (投げ槍)(lance) をなげた(なげた) threw

    思いやり
    重い槍
    がpun になってます。
