    Hola,

Edito: según mi diccionario inglés-inglés (Oxford): remove (sth/sb from sth): to take sth/sb away from a place or to another place: remove the dishes (from the table)

Hola xnavar. Puedes decir 'The tow truck took his car to .... (lugar donde el coche fue remolcado)' Suerte.

If "la grua" is the 'municipal service', then you could say:

    "His car got towed"
    "His got was towed"
"His car was towed away" (BrE??)

If not, you could say: "The tow truck took his car away"
