    'Traer' = To Bring

    'Llevar' = To Carry

    'Coger' = To Take

    Just as you can bring an umbrella, carry an umbrella, or take an umbrella, so too can you traer un paraguas, llevar un paraguas o coger un paraguas.

    I would like to clarify one thing, in Argentina (and I think in other Spanish speaking countries in the Americas) we would say: 'tomar, agarrar' instead of 'coger' (sexual connotation). The other two are ok for us.

    Have a nice Thursday (rainy one in Buenos Aires).
