Hi everyone!

Does this phrase sound ok to native speakers' ear?

Transition to a new level of research and development in the fields of radiation physics and chemistry with prospects for nanotechnology applications.

Or should I say attain a new level in research or, for example, to bring research to a new level involving nanotechnology applications?

Thank you!
