tridentine

Some of these words within this sentence about the appearance of the current Pope are causing me a bit of trouble to understand:

'dal pastore sportivo e casual, si è passati al pontefice paludato in vecchie mise tridentine, con copricapo desueti, pianete dimenticate e vanitose scarpette rosse.'

as I am unsure as to what 'mise tridentine' and 'pianete dimenticate'

does tridente refer to something 'three-fold'? and pianete? planets?!

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks

I think this adjective "tridentino-e" derives from " mise manufactured in Trentino". Regarding "mise and pianete"...I have no idea...
