    Nothing to do with urban slang. You have the answer six lines earlier in the script: "We're not bringing a dog home with us."

    It's obviously what any self-respecting (i.e. aloof) cat thinks about the undignified behaviour of dogs. I think a similar phrase is used by Alan Bennet in his sketch "Cream cracker under the settee".
