Tuboni Tdg

Ciao,
I’m having a lot of trouble working out how to translate Tuboni Tdg here; there are very few hits that I find all about the same thing with no useful description. I imagine that they’re something like a rail for snowboarding along or jumping or whatever, but tubular and I suppose large, if they’re “-oni”. However it occurs to me that it might be a kind of pipe, like the well-known “halfpipe”, different in some way which is not clear to me since Wikipedia says that a halfpipe remains a “halfpipe” in Italian. As to Tdg, I have precious little idea of whether its a brand or an initialism, let alone its meaning if it does have one.

Is anyone able to shed any light on this at all?

Many thanks,
Mark

I particularly like “7 su 13 impianti” translated as “7 on 13 plants”…

Not at all; now you mention it, that looks like a promising line of investigation...

Edit: But I didn’t get very far: tubo/tubazione something giù? It would appear not. I ended up with more hits on the testimoni di Geova than anything else.

Forse può servire questo: Rail - Real Snow

Oh, I see: our “flat down” from before is the sequence of sections, as in the bottom of @Mary49 's page. Maybe t-d-g translates to one of those sequences, or something similar. Dritto giù? With a superfluous “tubo” at the beginning perhaps?
