Dear all,

She felt she was being watched when she was sitting at her desk, so she turned around to check if someone was behind her, then she turned back to the table.

I made it up. Does "she turned back to the table" sound right? I want it to say that she returned to her original sitting position facing the table.

    Thank you very much, Procol!
Please assume she was sitting on a swivel chair. If she first swiveled halfway around, and then swiveled back around to her original position (facing the desk), would it be okay to describe the latter half of her action as "turning back to her desk"?
