French base tutélaire

Dictionary entry: tutélaire

In French, a somewhat common idiom is that of "une figure tutélaire". You'd read that in newspapers and hear that on TV news for instance; not so much in casual conversation, although it is not part of formal language.

I think it could be a great addition to the translation en -> fr for "tutélaire".

Example: "A leading light in/of Football, Maradona remained very popular after he stopped playing professionally." -> « Figure tutélaire du football, Maradona est resté très populaire après la fin de sa carrière de joueur. »
