    Yes, strictly speaking it should be "two fewer seats". Many people are not aware of the distinction.

    People who post in online discussions are not always careful to use words correctly. (Discussions about language are an exception, of course.) Posts on bulletin boards such as airliners.net are never reviewed for correct use of language. In fact, many posts are not made by native speakers - and other posts by "IWMBH" suggest that he or she isn't one. (I suspect that his/her native language is Dutch.) Don't use these posts as a guide to correct English.
