Hi All

I recently read the phrase "una botta e via" in the context of a relationship. Does it refer to a 'one-night stand' or some relationship without committment, or something completely different? Are there a number of meanings for this phrase? Many thanks

Hi Jezza! I've consulted this with some natives, and they agree with you. One night stand... sex and that's it!

I agree...yet the tone of "una botta e via" is closer to "wham bam thank you ma'm"
