Hi,
Is this construction ok ?
Under the table is where I found it.
Would it be considered a reversed pseudo-cleft sentence or just a case of fronting ?
Pseudo cleft
What he needs is a new car.
Reversed pseudo-cleft:
A car is what he needs.
Apparently pseudo-clefts can only enphasise the subj, the object and the whole predicate, always starting with what, but the above example, under . . . sounds ok to me.
Many thx
