What does it meant when somebody says that you are undermining my self-esteem ?

Is it in a good sense or a bad sense ?

I have heard it in a TV show.

What I understood from it is,

to discourage someone.

Am I correct ?

It is not a good thing.
Someone (A) is blaming someone else (B) for the fact that A is losing his self- esteem. It is a way of criticising some specific behaviour on B's part, depending on the context
