    Hi forum !

I'm looking for an English expression similar to (on vit) une époque formidable.

Literally it meansmore or less times are great, but in fact it is an highly ironic way of saying what a crazy world !

En français, c'est une façon très ironique et désabusée de dire que la société ou souvent l'économie est devenue folle, insensée, a perdu pied avec la réalité des choses.

    Any idea ?

Je crois que c'est ça, Ufoseeker, c'était pas si compliqué, mais je n'y ai pas pensé quand j'ai voulu l'écrire .

    Merci ! :)

Back in 1957 the catch-phrase of the era (from British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan) was “You’ve never had it so good.”

    And look what’s happening today...
