Can i say "....(a complete clause) , unlike when + clause ...... Can i add a clause directly after "unlike" which is adj or prep or should i add (which, that ,when ,who).

For example The dog is friendly now, unlike when enemies approaches his owner, he become.... This is the version with when..

Without it, Can i say The dog doesn’t bark, unlike his dog barks all the time.
