I have come across the following sentence in the online grammar I am translating. It does not make sense to me. A translation of the whole is desired. Also, the phrase کسی کی کیوں is new to me and I think it may be an Urdu idiom. The usual online dictionaries give nothing for it but google shows that it is widely used. Here is the sentence for your scrutiny:
وہ بڑے ضدی ہین۔ کسی کی کیوں ماننے لگے آخر ہمیں کو دینا پڑا۔
