Urdu: kisses and hugs

    hmm.. this is a strange thing to translate.
    I know "kiss" is chumhaa (choom - maa) OR: bosaa
    and "to hug" is: galay lagaanaa.

    But if you're saying this, for example, at the end of a letter or something, it wouldn't make sense. Can you tell us where/why you are using it?

    yes, it's more like you'd say at the end of a letter that i'm looking for.

    my boyfriend's first language is urdu. we're apart for the summer so we're always texting, and i like to learn little cute things to text him in urdu.

    would something else be more appropriate to say at the end of an email, like "i send you kisses"?

    not something naturally said in urdu, but here goes:

    main tumhein chuume bhejtii huun (literal)

    you could end an email with: pyaar se (with love),

    I love you--main tumse pyaar kartii huun
