Friends,
When the word starts with alif (with zer) + 3ain, I notice that the set tends to be pronounced "e".
For example:
اِعْتِبار etibaar "trust"
اِعْتِدال etidaal "moderation"
اِعْدام edaam "annihilation"
(Those words also happen to have a jazm over the 3ain)
Can I safely conclude that with all words beginning with alif (with zer) + 3ain are pronounced as "e", or it is just a coincidence for the only 3 words I know?
