Russian - Russia
Could you please help with the following. Which of these variants is more acceptable? It is for lyrics and the rhythm/rhyme matter. The idea is to say: the more you get into the situation, the stronger connections you build with your counterparts. There is hardly much more context to it, sorry.
"the deeper into it, the stronger ties" (may it do without "the", as it should be "the stronger the ties"?)
"the deeper in, the stronger are the ties" (is "deeper in" clear enough?)
Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, this doesn't work, as the rhythm changes. What about "the deeper in, the stronger are the ties"?
