Hola, me podrían ayudar a traducir este uso de la raya:

Ejemplo:

The economy is doing not badly and looks even better than it really is.

Traducción:

A: [TEXTO TRADUCIDO].

—Tom Teepen

    Hola Bevj, quisiera saber si se puede emplear la raya en español de la misma manera que es usada en el ejemplo en ingles.

    I can't tell you about the Spanish, but the following is from a style guide that says to use an em dash for quotations in English, and that might help you find the answer for the proper Spanish punctuation.

    Dashes—Em and En
    ...
    Use an em dash when attributing a quote.
