    Valer verga , in Mexican Spanish, means that something went to hell, fell through, or is worthless. It's pretty vulgar, but I will give you an example:

    -Oye Pedro, ¿qué pasó con tu negocio de reventa de boletos de fútbol?
    -Ya valió verga. El otro día me agarró la policía, me quitaron todo el dinero y me dieron una multa.

    Another way of using it is when you don't care about something or its outcome:

    -Oye Pedro, vino Juan y dijo que si no le pagabas el dinero que le debes, te iba a demandar.
    -Me vale verga (lo que haga Juan).

    Needless to say that there is an infinite number of expressions with the word verga in them, and not always in a negative sense. I hope this helps. Cheers.
