Valoriser / Valorisation

Hi everyone :)'

I'm stuck with this word "valorisation". I'm translating a functional specification document.
Here are two sentences that had the word:

Thanks a lot as always

I guess it is like mettre en valeur instead.
I had few other sentences which had the same words

I don't know what "évènements extraits" means ("extracted events" ?), but on the whole, it sounds like they're trying to promote their reward card points scheme, by trying to somehow increase their customers' perception of the value of the points they are awarded each time they make a purchase.

I'm sorry, but I can't think of anything else to add to this.
Perhaps someone else can think of something.

    Salut bhumika.ici,

I could be totally off the mark (because I'm not sure I understand your context), but in the billing field of telecommunications, "valorisation" equals "rating"...
