Good afternoon. I'd be very grateful with your corrections. The word "vano" in arquitecture means an aperture in walls, usually to get some light.
The context is the description of a building:"Destaca la cuadratura de sus dosplantas y de sus vanos, la sencillez decorativa y la individualización de sus elementos."
My poor translation: It highlights the quadrature of its two floors and its "vains"??? (doors and windows), the simplicity in its decoration and the individualization of its elements.
or even: It emphasizes the square shape of its floor and apertures in walls???.....
