varying/varied

Hello,

would it be possible to use varying - instead of varied - in the following sentence?

They maintain their varying year-round calendar of programs and events.

Thanks.

Do you want to say that the schedule changes a lot or that the programs and events are very different from each other?

In fact I would like to say that the programs and events are very different from each other, but would 'varying' also fit into the sentence? If we just considered the grammar?

In that case, you want to use "varied" and place it so that it modifies "programs and events" rather than "calendar."
