Vencimiento

I know this usually means expiry or due date, but I have a "Histórico de movimientos" bank statement and under one of the headings (acontecimiento) there is just Vencimiento Cliente).

The other headings are fecha valor/fecha operación/capital/interés/total/divisa/estado. The only items under acontecimiento are either Vencimiento Cliente or Revisión.

Customer due date doesn't really make a lot of sense to me here. Is there another meaning to vencimiento?

Thank you

  • No, I don't think the account was closed. It looks like this:

Fecha Val. Fecha Op. Acontecimineto Capital Interes Total Divisa Estado:
    01/01/23 01/01/23 Vencimiento Cliente 100.00 50.00 150.00 EUR PSD

And it has a line for every month of the year. Thanks!

In that context it means "pago de una deuda" (debt payment), but only on financial vocabulary. Here "Acontecimiento" basically means "What explains the existence of this bank statement?", and the answer is "Vencimiento Cliente" (the client paid their debt).
